Sound visualization video
This experiment began with recording and manipulating sounds into a composition and then creating a visualization to accompany them. All the sounds were recorded on an iPod. There are banging sounds of me hitting various things, sounds created through the use of objects and sounds resulting from natural processes in my environment. I chose to create a linear video for this composition in order to investigate complex motion as a way of interpreting the feelings of the sounds. The sounds were manipulated using Audacity, and the movie was composed of video and Photoshop brush effects in Adobe After Effects.
